A Capital District native, Maryanne has lived in the Pine Hills section of Albany for more than 40 years. She attended
Emma Willard School;Catholic Central HS; earned a BA from Georgian Court Univ., Lakewood, N.J.; an MA
from Siena College; did Post Graduate Studies at Columbia Univ., Russell Sage College & Syracuse Univ.
Maryanne has two children, both educated in the Albany public & parochial schools.
Prior careers included a Public Administration Intern-Employee Relations-NYS Dept. of
Civil Service, Associate Professor of Classical Language & Literature at Georgian Court Univ.,
and Coordinator of Peace Corps Recruitment in Southern NJ.
Maryanne has been in real estate since 1981 & an Associate Broker since 1983. She holds the
Graduate of Realtors Institute & Certified Residential Specialist designations as well as the Performance Management Network Designation
from the Women's Council of Realtors. She has served as treasurer for the local chapters of CRS & WCR. She continues
to take courses to keep current with the latest innovations in real estate technology.
Maryanne specializes in selling homes in the city of Albany. She has volunteered at The Albany Home Store, a city agency
devoted to promoting the stabilization of neighborhoods & an increase in the number of homeowners through grant,
savings & loan programs, counseling, help with repairs & renovations & innumerable other related services
to help moderate income renters become homeowners.
Currently she is an active member of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Association and the Madison Theatre Group. Both groups
are actively engaged in working with the colleges, universities & hospitals in the area as well as Citizens Bank & the Midtown
Plan of the City of Albany to increase owner occupancy & enhance business opportunities in that area of Albany.
Maryanne is a longtime volunteer with the Homeless Action Commitee & a member of the board of the St. Paul's Center, a shelter
for homeless mothers & their children.
